Dubai reveals requirements for granting Golden Visa to exceptional educators

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has announced Golden Visas for exceptional educators who have demonstrated outstanding performance and made significant contributions to Dubai's private education sector.
This announcement, made on World Teachers' Day, highlights the crucial role educators play in shaping Dubai's future, aligning with the emirate’s broader strategic goals, including the recently introduced Education 33 strategy.
Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has outlined the steps and criteria for awarding the Golden Visa to eligible educators.
The process involves submitting several documents to verify eligibility.
KHDA also announced that applications for the Golden Visa will be open from October 15. It further stated that five categories of individuals will be eligible to apply:
- school principals
- early childhood center directors
- academic leaders in higher education institutions
- teachers in schools and early childhood centers
- full-time faculty members and senior administrative leaders in higher education.
